Every Wednesday and Sunday, I add a new title to the list, building a collection of films that stood out to me, whether it\u2019s because of the story, the vibe, or just how unforgettable they are. But underneath that, it&#8217;s really a story about a flawed father, a smart and stubborn kid, and the weird little robot they find that somehow brings them together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:14px\">It&#8217;s got action, it&#8217;s got heart, and it never feels forced or overdramatic. You just end up caring way more than you thought you would. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:14px\">Also, Hugh Jackman is perfect in this role: rough, flawed, but still someone you root for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:14px\">It was the first action movie I&#8217;ve ever watched in 2011 and it still is one of my favorites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:14px\">Basically: if you want a movie that&#8217;s a fun watch but still hits a but emotionally, Real Steel is an easy yes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:14px\">PS. But yeah\u2026 that doesn\u2019t last. What follows is a messy mix of passive-aggressive fights, awkward tension, and moments that feel <em>way<\/em> too relatable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:14px\">What makes it such a great watch is how real it feels. It\u2019s funny, but not in a forced way \u2014 more like \u201cthis is painfully accurate\u201d kind of funny. Sounds chaotic (and it is), but that\u2019s exactly what makes it so fun. Between all the animals, the messy fresh start, and the emotional ups and downs, it ends up being way more meaningful than you\u2019d expect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s wholesome, a little bit chaotic, and honestly just really comforting to watch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:14px\">Perfect for when you want something soft and hopeful.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to my personal movie diary!
